After several months of wrangling, Hamas has decided to resume relations with Syria after an 11-year hiatus. Not everyone is happy.

The Iranian axis’s “civilian entrenchment” program forms the basis of its military build-up, Maj. (res.) Tal Beeri of the Alma Center says.

The attack “caused heavy damage” to one of the facilities belonging to Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC).

This is the 24th Israeli attack in Syria in 2022, as the Jewish state continues to disrupt Iran’s military buildup in the war-torn country.

Iranian militias manufacture and develop weapons at these sites, including short-range missiles.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said it was the 23rd such attack of the year.

Latest attack is the 21st Israeli strike on Iranian targets in Syria during the current year alone, as Iran continues to arm local terror groups.

Sites were hit in southeastern Tartus on the Syrian coast as well as in the Damascus countryside, according to Syrian state media.

Israel hopes to lead Assad to the conclusion that he will pay a higher price for the Iranians’ continued activity in his country than he will for confronting them.
