The initiative aims to connect investors with businesses and projects that can “scale from local operations into nationally competitive businesses.”

“Efforts to redefine and rename Judea and Samaria as the ‘West Bank’ are intended to disconnect the region from Israel itself,” said the founder and president of the National Association of Christian Lawmakers.

Several hundred activists from the national camp gathered at the TKUMA event to hear government ministers, members of Knesset, bereaved parents, a released hostage and others share their visions.

“If a left-wing government comes to power, everything you see here could be uprooted,” Sovereignty Movement co-chair Nadia Matar tells JNS.

Some 50 Arabs are employed at a construction site near the local school, and the families feel the security arrangements are not enough.

“Within seconds, they can turn their guns on us,” security official tells JNS.

Yesha Council Chairman Israel Ganz compares it to the Balfour Declaration.

This marks the first time in a decade that illegal construction has dropped, accompanied by increased enforcement by Israel’s Civil Administration.
