Israel is finally ready to destroy Amalek, but the Christians won’t allow it

We are repeating the mistakes of the biblical past, because now, just as then, it’s not “politically correct” to do what must be done.

In biblical times, the threat posed by Amalek was not entirely destroyed because doing so wouldn’t have been prudent politically, economically and for a variety of other reasons.

After failing to fully heed the Lord’s command to destroy Amalek, King Saul pleads with the prophet Samuel: “I have sinned. I violated the Lord’s command and your instructions. I was afraid of the men and so I gave in to them” (I Samuel 15:24).

In our day, the modern Amalek, Hamas, now looks as though it won’t be destroyed because the process of doing so wouldn’t be prudent politically, economically and for a variety of other reasons.

US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told a press conference this week that the administration of President Joe Biden “won’t support southern [Gaza] operations unless or until the Israelis can show that they have accounted for all the internally displaced people of Gaza.” In other words, Hamas’s human shields just might protect terrorists from annihilation.

The only difference between these two scenarios is that in the first, it was Israel that made the mistake of not heeding God’s warning to eliminate the terrorist threat. King Saul felt he knew better, or was swayed by political pressure, and spared Amalek from total destruction.

Today, Israel is ready to destroy Amalek-Hamas, but the “Christian” world stands in the way. Biden, Macron, Sunak and other Western leaders believe they know better, and that Israel must not be allowed to actually defeat and humiliate its enemies, and certainly not if “too many” (a vague, undefined number) might die in the process.

The political fallout of such a scenario would be too great for those “Christian” leaders, just as Saul felt it would be for him in regards to Amalek’s total destruction.

Will Israel’s leaders hold fast and do what must be done for Israel’s sake? Or will they go the direction of King Saul and leave the job unfinished, to the detriment of future generations? The coming days will tell.

It’s disappointing and misleading to refer to the world as Christians. They would not describe themselves as such. It’s a little like describing Israelis as Orthodox Jews.
Most Christians I know are in full support of Israel.

Sunak is a practising Hindu, not a defender of faith in the Lord Jesus.

  3. Esther Wischer says:

Hold fast, Israel! Don’t go the way of King Saul. True Christians are supporting you and praying constantly for Amalek to be destroyed.

I hate to say it Ryan but that’s a cop-out. It’s not Christians at all those that are telling you no. They are all anti- Christians all of them. If israel knows its imperative to finish Amelek then they must do it. Don’t be like most jews and lump is in with the nazi’s just because we are Goyim.

    Breaking News !
Biden, Macron, and Sunak are not Bible believing Christians.

We true literal Hermeneutic Bible believers want Israel to destroy Hamas and all other Islamic Jihadists. To say the ‘West’ is Christian, especially those guys is fallible at best. Biden a Christian ? Macron a Christian ? I think that’s laughable.
