On Sunday a small group of right-wing activists demonstrated outside the President’s Residence in Jerusalem. They demanded that he not allow a coalition that depends on the support of the Islamic party Ra’am. They held up signs featuring past quotes from the Ra’am party leader Mansour Abbas in which he spoke out in favor of terrorism and against the Jewish state.

A spokeswoman for the activists told reporters, “Under Abbas’s partnership there is no chance of a settlement in Judea and Samaria, some Likud members do not accept the absurdity of joining the Islamic movement to the Jewish state. I turn to Netanyahu and the Likud members with a warning – if we, God forbid, cooperate with the Israel haters, we will fall.”
