
Once again, Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon came close to war last Wednesday as three separate incidents occurred that were slightly reminiscent of what happened in the lead-up to the Second Lebanon War.
Hezbollah changing the equation
From all that happened in the past few weeks it has become clear that the Iranian-backed terrorist organization is slowly but surely trying to change the equation in its conflict with the Israeli military, as we shall see.
Israel and Hezbollah have been embroiled in a game of cat and mouse lately that threatened to escalate into a new armed conflict on Wednesday.
This happened after a group of Hezbollah terrorists approached the electronic border fence near the city of Metullah in Israel’s far north.
However, the group was closely monitored by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and the moment it became clear that the terrorists were trying to make a hole in the border fence, an explosion was seen.
