As billions pour into the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip and billionaires like Jared Kushner, Peter Thiel, and Larry Ellison push their visions of a tax-free high-tech zone, a central question arises: Is capital enough to resolve decades-long conflicts in the Middle East? Historical, biblical, and ideological tensions between Israel, the Palestinians, and Arab states run deep in the region and cannot simply be swept aside by investments, AI data centers, or luxury startups. Can economic ambition bridge old divides, or does the money ultimately serve as a new tool to secure power, influence, and geopolitical control? My opinion: Money can finance peace, but it cannot create it.
The Gaza Strip could transform into a tax-free high-tech zone after the war, paving the way for normalization between Israel and Saudi Arabia. Kushner and Thiel are deeply involved. The multi-billion-dollar reconstruction project is already attracting states, investors, and former heads of government. Kushner aims to establish AI data centers, while international donors seek a liberal investment haven. Experts see this as a potential economic springboard...

This profound statement at end of this article sums it up perfectly:
“And you know what? The Bible makes it quite clear that peace (shalom – שָׁלוֹם) is not the result of political negotiations or financial power but a spiritual reality that emerges from justice and truth. “The fruit of righteousness will be peace…”
Terrorism is contained within the heart of mankind.
You cannot remove it from the hearts and minds of people. It cannot be destroyed off the face of the earth. People in disobedience to God give themselves to be slaves to “the prince and the power of the air.” Satan’s war with God is birthed center-stage in the hearts of mankind. It is a battle of spirits [good vs. evil], which cannot be seen by the human eye. Only God can win the battle; and he alone can transform the hearts and minds of terrorists – we are all terrorists by God’s definition, when we are opposing his laws and commandments for governing our own lives and actions. The battle against any organization of terror and hate cannot be won by human strength or ingenuity; it takes God’s intervention and his power to control the works of satan’s dark world on earth.
Psalm 146:3-5 KJV
3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
5 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God:
Proverbs 16:7 KJV
7 When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
Ephesians 6:12 KJV
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
I wish it were for the Peace of Jerusalem the nations have gathered, but that is far from the truth. The love of money is the root of all evil. The stages of the peace negotiation have not even been fulfilled and yet the money mongrels are gathering to lay seige to property within God’s appointed borders.
I heard Eric Trump say a blasphemous thing: He said his father saved God and Christianity!
Isaiah tells a different story!!
9″All the nations have gathered together
So that the peoples may be assembled.
Who among them can declare this
And proclaim to us the former things?
Let them present their witnesses that they may be justified,
Or let them hear and say, “It is true.”
10“You are My witnesses,” declares the LORD,
“And My servant whom I have chosen,
So that you may know and believe Me
And understand that I am He.
Before Me there was no God formed,
And there will be none after Me.
11“I, even I, am the LORD,
And there is NO savior besides Me.”
