Our own Oriel Moran recently had the opportunity to chat with Iranian activist and author Marziyeh Amirizadeh at the Israel Today office in Jerusalem.
Marziyeh was born into a Muslim family, but found Jesus as a young woman. The encounter with her Messiah was so overwhelming that Marziyeh began to boldly share the Gospel and pass out Bibles across Tehran, for which she was arrested and sent to the notorious Evin Prison.
The interview is harrowing, inspiring and a clear wake-up call to Christians in the West.
Testimonies like Marziyeh’s are critical to understanding what is happening in the Middle East and how it impacts Israel.

Thank you Oriel and Marziyeh, for providing this interview, a powerful witness of God’s love and His strength. Listening to you, I could only think of Romans 8:37-39, “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Thank you again, and may God bless you always and keep you in His love and care.
