US Congresswoman Taunts ‘Palestinian’ Colleague With Israeli Flag

“I think it’ll be very helpful as she walks past both (the US and Israeli flags) every day”

A newly-elected US congresswoman from Florida says she plans to put her support for Israel on display when she moves into her new office on Capitol Hill.

Lots of members of Congress support Israel. So what makes Rep. Kat Cammack unique?

Well, it just so happens that Cammack’s new office is right next door to that of Rep. Rashida Tlaib (MI).

While she was born in the US, Tlaib’s parents are “Palestinian.” Available details are sparse, but given Tlaib’s birth year of 1976, it’s possible her parents emigrated before 1967, when their hometowns were still part of Jordan. Regardless, since taking office in 2019, Tlaib has been an outspoken critic of Israel on Capitol Hill. Among other things, she’s openly supported the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, called to end US foreign aid to Israel, and repeatedly insisted that Israel is racist entity. (Meanwhile, local Arabs are praising Israel’s right-wing government for being peacemakers.)

Cammack says that one of her first acts as a congresswoman will be to plant an Israeli flag outside her office, right where Tlaib will have to see it every morning.

Cammack is taking a lot of flack on social media for her overt support of Israel. It’s notable that the same voices slamming her have been accepting of Tlaib’s hostility toward the Jewish state. Among those who are thankful to the new congresswoman, however, is the Consulate of Israel in Miami.
