A few days ago, information leaflets were distributed in Jewish settlements urgently warning against the corona vaccinations. Religious friends of mine brought the flyer with them and said that it could be found in all mailboxes.
In addition to the usual warnings about possible side effects and warnings against Pfizer, an interesting prophetic admonition was indicated.
The prophet Ezekiel (39: 9) describes the weapons with which Gog and Magog fight in the terrible war. ‘Then those who live in the towns of Israel will go out and use the weapons for fuel and burn them up—the small and large shields, the bows and arrows, the war clubs and spears.’ In the original Hebrew, “war clubs” or “javelins” are מקל יד, which in today’s Hebrew language means “hand sticks.”
A few centuries ago, the famous rabbi and Torah scholar David Altschuler from Prague (1687-1769) considered an expert in prophetic interpretations provided an interesting explanation for this term. He saw it as a deadly needle. In his interpretation, which is around 300 years old, the rabbi writes: “It is a long wooden stick with an iron needle on its head that kills people.”
We have spoken to some people who agree that the stick / needle mentioned by Ezekiel is a direct link to the Pfizer vaccine doses and are now warning against it. Others can understand how this might be an interpretation of the prophecy but see it as less of a danger.
The note has been distributed in the last few days, at a time when the third dose of vaccine is being administered and it seems to be having an effect on some people. A colleague of mine who has already had the third booster shot and suddenly found the note in his mailbox now thinks that he has made a mistake after reading the words of the prophet.
This is interesting because a number of leading rabbis in Israel have called on the population in the past few days to take the third dose of vaccine.
