When someone criticizes or condemns another person for a particular flaw, it is often precisely the flaw that they themselves possess. For example, someone who constantly accuses others of lying may not be entirely honest and sincere themselves. Or someone who only sees stingy people around them might struggle with being generous. When a teacher repeatedly complains about her undisciplined students, she may herself have difficulty setting clear boundaries. Or when someone criticizes a friend for being too arrogant, they might need to recognize that they themselves behave arrogantly toward others.
Life philosophy
