MembersIt’s not Hamas that’s the problem, it’s the Palestinians

A new poll shows that the majority of Palestinians stand behind Hamas and glorify “resistance.”

A new survey by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research in Ramallah reveals a clear increase in support for Hamas, particularly in the Palestinian-controlled territories in the biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria. According to the authors, this trend reflects the growing belief among Palestinians that armed resistance (ie. terrorism) remains the most effective means to achieve their goals. Around 70 percent reject the disarmament of Hamas, even if it were a prerequisite for ending the war. Rejection is especially pronounced in Judea and Samaria at 78 percent, compared to 55 percent in the Gaza Strip. This points to a broad consensus: Hamas should not be forced to disarm. I’m increasingly understanding that the people in the Gaza Strip live in a manipulated loyalty—those who oppress them sell themselves as their only protectors and saviors. Hamas maintains its power not despite the suffering of the population, but precisely because of it. Violence becomes legitimization, and the myth of “resistance at any cost” replaces any sense of responsibility.

  1. AGR says:

“If the majority of Palestinians prefer the fire of “resistance” over the effort of peace, then it’s not a political drama, but a spiritual one. Those who celebrate death as victory won’t know how to protect life.”
Those who celebrate death, and died have already found there is nothing to celebrate, it is defeat. Their prophet told them while he was still alive that Allah was not a holy god, everything they claim to be holy is not holy, killing for the sake of killing is nothing more than murder. Murder is what they will be judged for in the final judgement, death is the final defeat of those who glorify it.
The Lord told us to choose life that we can have it more abundantly, the giver of life knows more about it than any mortal will ever know in this lifetime.

  2. Taylor Sealy says:

The God of the Bible said not to murder. Allah supports murder. I hope the Muslims figure out they are not following the God of the Bible who Abraham was following and they will not end up in any kind of paradise for their evil deeds. They are not suffering for their “righteousness” and need to have a change of heart before it is too late for them. They could learn from the true descendants of Abraham who are their neighbors. The Bible says the Hebrews will still be there at the end of the tribulaion and after.
