
In an effort to prepare these young adults to serve with valor in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), local Messianic leaders have started a new program called Hetzim, Hebrew for “Arrows.” The project aims to help recruits serve their nation in ways that bring honor to God, to the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus), and help ensure that the Jewish people are kept safe in their divinely-Promised Land.
We spoke to Joel Goldberg, director of the national Messianic youth ministry Netivah, under which the Heztim program operates. He had this to say:
