But the new peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has demolished the “sacred” idea that Israel must give up land to make peace with the Arabs. The simple solution? “Peace for peace.”
For years Israel have tried to convince the world that peace for peace is the answer to the Middle East conflict, but no one listening, until now. The Jewish state’s new peace treaty with one of the richest Arab countries in the Persian Gulf has brought one of the world’s most complex conflicts to a standstill with a simple proposition. Sometimes it is the simplest ideas that are the most profound, and work. Now everyone is listening to Israel’s advice.
