‘As a Christian, Israel Has Always Been Special to Me’

As an American, former VP Mike Pence signals he seeks to bless Israel so that the US can in turn be blessed.

Former US Vice President Mike Pence on Tuesday reiterated that as a Bible-believing Christian, his love and support for Israel should come as no surprise.

“As a Christian believer, Israel has always had a special place in my heart,” Pence told the Iranian American Jewish Federation of New York gala in Manhattan.

“In so many ways, I truly believe Israel’s very existence is proof the promises of God are true,” he added.

When asked by the organizers if he and fellow Christian keynote speakers Mike Pompeo and Nikki Haley might make a White House run in 2024, Pence replied: “Wherever the Lord leads our little family in the days ahead, we will stand with the People of Israel.”

Pence’s unwavering support for Israel is twofold.

He believes without question that Christians are required by Scripture to comfort and stand with the Jewish people, and as an American he trusts God’s Word when it suggests the US will be blessed if it blesses Israel.

“We stand with Israel because her cause is our cause,” said Pence. “Her values are our values. Her fight is our fight. We stand with Israel because we believe in right over wrong, in good over evil. We stand with Israel because like millions of Americans through all generations, we hold fast to that ancient promise, that those who bless her will be blessed.”

Hmmm. Mike P. Where are you getting this intel?
Wondering what kind of Christian he is trying to look like?
Last he was on the scene he appeared as a coward and even worse a traitor to the American Christians at large.
    Sad.

Mary, you do not come across as a true Believer. Mike Pence speaks for millions of Americans who believe that the Bible is Truth. Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.” As such He is the Incarnate Word of God and His Word is Absolute Truth.
Mike Pence believes in biblical truth and so do Christians everywhere. The Old Testament points to the coming of Jesus Christ and the New Testament celebrates that coming. Israel was the vehicle that God used to bring about His divine purpose.
