Christians are today the State of Israel’s most influential and reliable supporters around the globe. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has acknowledged as much on numerous occasions.

So, how should believers relate to the region’s hottest issue, the creation of a Palestinian Arab state?

Messianic Jewish YouTuber Hananya Naftali tried to address a viewer’s question on that subject, giving some degree of insight into how local Israeli believers relate to the issue of a Palestinian state.

Naftali didn’t have a concrete answer for the viewer, but did note three key points that presently inform the views of most local believers on the subject:

  1. The current Palestinian leadership doesn’t want a genuine peace, but instead prefers to perpetuate the conflict, so getting into the specifics of a Palestinian “state” is premature;

  2. The areas where most Palestinians live is the ancient national heartland of the Jewish people, and must be recognized as such;

  3. That said, transferring the millions of Palestinian Arabs elsewhere would be inhumane.

In short, it’s a tricky situation that requires some kind of solution, but under the present circumstances, there is no viable way forward.
