In an era when many Western nations hesitate to confront evil boldly, Israel has shown it is ready to stand up for its security, even if it must act alone. This strike was not just a response to an existential threat but an act of moral clarity against a regime that has exported terror for decades, called for Israel’s annihilation, and denied its own citizens basic rights. Israel must first be feared, not loved. Love alone cannot defeat enemies—beautiful as that would be, it’s neither realistic nor biblical.
Indeed, the Bible repeatedly describes fear of Israel—or rather, fear of the God of Israel—as a prerequisite for the people’s safety. In many biblical accounts, it is not the sympathy of nations but their fear of God’s intervention that ensures Israel’s security. Israel was safe when its enemies knew that attacking Israel means attacking God’s hand. Enemies had to respect and fear Israel’s God—not love or seek diplomatic closeness.
