“For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place. Since you were precious in My sight, you have been honored, and I have loved you; therefore I will give men for you, and people for your life. Fear not, for I am with you…” (Isaiah 43:3-5)

I am writing this early Friday morning, February 17, 2022, in my temporary home in southern Bohemia. War is on my mind. War, and the coming of the Kingdom.

For months now, but with daily – now hourly – increasing intensity, the question spinning the globe is: “What will Vladimir Putin do?”

The eyes of the news networks are glued to Ukraine’s borders around which fully 60 percent of Russia’s land forces are mobilised for war.
