My name is Ori. I was born and raised in Israel. You will get to know me as we go on touring the uncharted territory of the Israeli Messianic movement. This is going to be a bumpy ride, as trekking tours in unmapped areas usually are. You can liken me to one of those safari trackers who dazzle their guests with intimate knowledge of the bush. Those who can tell the difference between the footprint of a waterbuck and that of an eland, who can differentiate between medicinal and poisonous plants, who, with naught but a glance, can tell Xhosa from Zulu.
I have that kind of intimate knowledge of the Israeli Messianic movement. Having joined this community in 1980, I’ve since learned everything there is to be learned about Messianic Judaism. I have become familiar with all the intricacies of this sub-culture. I have gotten to know almost all of the key people in this movement, and I took part in many of the key events that helped shape the community into what it is today.
