Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Galant said on Tuesday that the Israeli army is fighting in as many as “seven theaters” and has conducted operations in six of them.
According to Galant, these theaters are: Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Yemen as well as the biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria, or the “West Bank” as the world calls these areas.
The theatre where the Israeli military has not yet been active is most likely Iran, although there have been a few incidents in the Islamic Republic that indicated Mossad activity, for example a recent cyber attack on Iran’s fuel distribution system.
If we now look closely at the front that currently has the greatest potential to turn the current war into a regional, or even global conflict, it is the Red Sea front.
