
Follow the money
There are about 8 billion people on the planet, and fewer than 20 million are Jews. That is less than 0.25 percent of the population. According to Forbes, of the 30 richest people in the world, about 30% are Jews or of Jewish origin. That is 166 times their relative share of the population.
Jewish Nobel Prize winners and successes in the sciences, medicine, philosophy and literature may be a source of pride and envy. But when Jews are also good at business and making money, troubles follow, and stupidity increases.
In many places in the world people see Jewish success in business not as a threat but an opportunity to learn from them. During my years of teaching in Asia many times I was asked, “How can we learn from you and educate our children so that they will succeed like the Jews.”
Jewish success stirred a desire in them to understand the reasons. It did not cause hatred of Jews as happens in so many Western countries.

And then there is a respect for and awe of truth. Because there is a Creator, there are answers to be found; reality is not just meaningless chaos. And ultimately truth is not just an abstraction but actually a person, Yeshua, the only begotten Son of the living and all knowing God. Thus truth is both alive, personal, and eternal. Many secular and/or false religious cultures do not believe in ultimate and living truth. Thus truth calls for perseverance, relationship, and ethics. These characteristics come the Trinity; and, because we are all made in God’s image,they are available to all who seek them!
