That according to American Evangelical leader Mike Evans in an interview with Israel Today. Evans is among a small group of prominent pro-Israel Christian leaders who advised Trump during his first presidency.
Evans emphasized that Trump’s election victory is a gift to Israel from God: “Trump has moral clarity. He sees things simply. Good versus evil. In his eyes, Israel is good, and its enemies are evil. Yes, Susan, we have to be careful. God’s Word says a man will bring peace, but then turn against Israel. We are very thankful, though, that Harris didn’t win – we must be in prayer over the situation.
Esther, I personally believe Harris would have been a better friend to Israel.
Trump is a very prideful man, who does not respond well if you don’t dance his dance. He has shown himself unfaithful to wives, friends, business associates, his own vice president, the country and its constitution. I believe he will turn against Israel. He wants Netanyahu to be a puppet, but it won’t happen. So, yes, prayer is needed.
Ultimately, both of us know, the only true protector of Israel is HaShem.
