I Never Dreamed This Could Happen

The idea that many may have my work in their hands and hearts is beyond anything I ever imagined.

Sometimes reality, as they say, surpasses all imagination.

This year my book was published “And You Shall Choose Life,” though I never dreamed that I would write a book, or that it would be published!

The idea that many may have my work in their hands and hearts is beyond anything I ever imagined.

The book came into being during my cognitive and spiritual development in life. It is about all the weekly Torah portions, beginning from the book of Genesis right through to Deuteronomy, and exemplifies the Bible as Book of Life; Torah from which you can learn how to live a good, meaningful and benevolent life here and now.

“For it is not in heaven, that you should need to ask, ‘Who will ascend into heaven to get it for us and proclaim it, that we may obey it?” (Deuteronomy. 30:12)

The Bible is a philosophy of life that offers us a way to live here on earth.

After the book was published in Hebrew, exciting things began happening to me. There was a great response from readers, and the book has been translated into German and will be published very soon.

And the thing I never dreamed of for a moment, not even in my wildest dreams, is that I, Anat Schneider, will participate in the Israel Book Fair alongside other well-known authors.

The Jewish people are also called “the People of the Book” due to their love of the Word. Books among the Jewish people are considered a national heritage.

I have always loved to read, and admired writers and poets, but never dreamed that my book will be displayed at the same booth together with other great writers.

But it is happening, and it is a personal fulfilment in every sense of the word. I do not have enough words to describe how I feel taking part in this great heritage asset of the Jewish people.

With a heart full of humility, I have to thank all the wonderful people who helped me bring this beauty to light.

And to thank the Creator of the world who, over and over, surprises me with His love and grace.
