
All throughout the hall one could find young Israeli startup businesses with fresh ideas and plenty of motivation.
Firstfruits is in the business of training and equipping a new generation of Israeli entrepreneurs. To that end, participants in the Business Plan competition went through an intense training program conducted by Firstfruits and its partners.
Christians from around the world, too, came to talk business, trade and “help to raise up Israeli business.”
Sessions on various topics were packed with foreign and local believers looking to forge relationships and establish a strong Messianic business presence in Israel. At one of those sessions titled “Investing in Israel,” Evan Liberman of Wise Money Israel explained that “the Tel Aviv stock exchange has out preformed Wall Street for the last five years,” putting Israel’s rate of return on investment at 88 percent, versus 55 percent for Wall Street.
