Will Iran Israel attack amid the US election, or will the ayatollahs wait for the critical results in the United States?

My friend and colleague, the Iran expert Eliyahu Yossian, told me: “I support Iran responding because as soon as Iran retaliates, we will have open legitimacy and full support to strike Iran with full force.” This time, Iran’s nuclear facilities and oil industry will be in Israel’s crosshairs. “If the death toll continues to rise and the extent of the damage becomes known, the Iranian state media will advocate for retaliation, and regime supporters are already stirring sentiments on social media.”

One thing is certain: Iran must attack Israel, or else the ayatollah regime will lose face in the Middle East. Iran faces a choice between strategic logic and strategic ego. Is the Iranian operation “True Promise No. 3” on its way?

If Iran fails to respond to the Israeli attack, its honor will be damaged, both among its allies in the fight against Israel and its supporters at home. Thus, the rhetoric from the Iranian leadership about a potential response is intensifying. The last Israeli attack...
