(TPS) Garbage trucks run by the Jordanian Waqf are dumping the waste they are transporting around the Temple Mount in a place which according to Jewish tradition is considered the holiest within the Temple Mount, activists of “Beyadenu – for the Temple Mount” organization have documented.

A clip filmed on Wednesday shows a Waqf garbage truck dumping garbage in front of the Temple site without any enforcement and protection of the holy places by the State of Israel.

The Waqf is a Jordanian-appointed organization responsible for controlling and managing the Islamic edifices on the Temple Mount.

Beyadenu approached Director-General of the Israel Antiquities Authority Eli Eskosido with the case. He appealed to the police with the demand that they act to protect the antiquities in the place, which so far has failed to respond.

Tom Nissani, CEO of the “Beyadenu – for the Temple Mount,” stated that “after the football games around the Temple Mount and the desecration of antiquities from the Temple Mount, now comes another stage in turning the Temple Mount into a playground for the Arabs.”

“After realizing that the Temple Mount really has no value in their eyes, the time has come for the State of Israel to start enforcing its sovereignty in the holiest place in the world and decide if it wants to be the proprietor of the Mount. This is another painful and bizarre spectacle of dumping waste at the holiest site in the world. Shame and disgrace to the Jewish people.”

This incident is the latest in a series of apparent acts of desecration of the holy site by Muslims.

On Jerusalem Day, May 29, during those violent riots, a Muslim suspect was documented urinating on the roof of the Al Aqsa mosque and desecrating the sanctity of the place.

Muslims were also documented playing ball games inside the mosque with shoes on when shoes should be removed prior to entering the mosque, as well as causing damage to the inside of the mosque with stones and throwing of objects, firing fireworks, and throwing Molotov cocktails that also fell on carpets and inside the mosque and almost caused a fire, defecating on the roof of the mosque, smashing the windows of the mosque.
