Something New Has Begun at Israel Today
It’s a new year. It’s a new decade. And it’s a new era at Israel Today in the heart of Jerusalem!
As I wrote in the last magazine, it’s time to rethink our approach. Today is the first day of 2020, the first day of a new decade. In preparation, we had several brainstorming sessions over the past few months.
We have come to the conclusion that Israel Today is much more than just a news agency. Israel Today is not just a destination on the Internet, we are a dynamic team situated in the heart of Jerusalem! And we hear this again and again from friends who visit our editorial offices, either in groups or individually.
Israel Today is a community where, in addition to publishing information and opinions, new connections are made. Together with its Members, Israel Today is helping to build the country.
Israel Today offers not only daily news, but exclusive reports and analysis. Israel Today still brings news that others leave out. More than that, we provide important background information to help you make sense of the news from Israel and across the region. And your opinion counts too! Going forward, the best Member-submitted posts will also be published on Israel Today.
We are your personal and direct connection in the country. Do you have questions about current events, want to visit Israel or simply want to share your heart? Write to us! And if you are in Jerusalem, be sure to drop by for a coffee, because we look forward to meeting you!
Our friends and Members also receive vouchers for use in our online store, as well as discounts discounts on our annual trips, Made-in-Israel products and our Israel Today vacation rental in downtown Jerusalem. We want to be sure to reward our loyal Members. Too often, magazines and newspapers will only make special offers when you are ready to leave them. We want to bless you while you are still part of our family!
We are also opening a new news channel that will fly under the mainstream media radar. Our Members will soon be invited to a private Telegram group where we will regularly post “politically-incorrect” content that might be too controversial for online publication. Nevertheless, this information is crucial to truly understanding politics, society, and how average Israelis relate to it all.
Also coming up are special Members-only gatherings and lectures in Jerusalem. Stay tuned for more information on those. You won’t want to miss out!
And you know what, if you have other ideas, let us know. That’s how we become stronger and a more effective voice for Israel.
Baruch Habaim, Welcome to the Israel Today Community!
