Yesterday’s successful rescue operation was an example of the surprises that I keep talking and writing about. Humanly speaking, we often see no political way out or military solution to the conflict we live in, and then it happens, as it did yesterday in Nusseirat. Boom! A sensation that has restored motivation to an entire people. It was sorely needed. “Those who sow with tears will reap with joy,” reads Psalm 126. “When the Lord brought back the captives of Zion, we were like those who dream. Our mouths were filled with laughter and our tongues with singing.”

That was what was felt and seen in the country yesterday! This operation and warriors to executed it should be an example to politicians, the media and the people. They embody the slogan – “Together we will win!” Harmony without ego led the operation to liberation, victory and joy.

Four Israeli hostages were freed from captivity in the heart of the Gaza Strip and returned to Zion. When this was officially announced at midday, the people erupted in jubilation....
