Israel has achieved much, and that should be recognized. But what it ultimately comes down to is not Jewish ingenuity or Israeli chutzpah. It’s God.
Israel’s population is almost 10 million, 12 times more than when the state was founded in 1948. According to the Central Bureau of Statistics, 9,727,000 people live in Israel.
Israel is a nation of stark contrasts, and nothing demonstrates that more than the transition from Memorial Day to Independence Day.
What is dividing Israel more than anything is the hostile rhetoric, the “evil tongue” being employed against others. And the Bible has much to say on this.
The battle is existential and reflects a similar struggle in the West.
Whiskey from Israel?! Yep, and experts agree that it’s some of the best in the world.
That is the question…that lies at the heart of Israel’s dangerous divisions, and not for the first time in history.
Until we acknowledge each other, that each one of us is a part the whole, we will keep fighting one another and hurting ourselves.
Which are we first, Jews or Israelis? That is the core of the current dispute, not only today, but always.
