Remarks by former Israeli ambassador to the US come as President Biden again pushes a Palestinian state as “the only solution.”
The vice president began her speech marking 59 years since the “Bloody Sunday” attacks on civil-rights activists in Selma, Ala., by discussing Gaza.
Biden said that the Jewish state’s “incredibly conservative government” risked losing it international support.
“We have to plan for all possibilities,” said a State Department spokesman, amid congressional legislation to defund the scandal-plagued agency.
